THEATRE

IN THEATRE EDUCATION PROGRAM; Besides the culture lessons in High School , lessons like Acting, Group Acting, Movement, Sound- Breath and Speaking, Dance, Fencing, Pantomim, Theory of Theatre, Dramaturgy are given.

Lessons are done in atmosphere of professional workshop. By the way of the art of theatre and acting, the student attains skill of identification of himself/herself. With group work method the personal creativity of the student is improved. On important days inside school the plays and sketches are prepared. Outside and inside school attendance to the workshops done with artist pedagogists is provided.

Conversations, conferences and seminars are done with artists specialists in their subject. ------to the selected plays and the students are oriented. The conditions for attendance to competitions between the schools in our country and in abroad are constituted.

Among university choices of the students who are studying in this department there are a lot of alternatives which bring their education life in academic level like Dramaturgy, Acting Departments of the Conservatories and Stage Arts.

**The students are taken to this department with examinations of ability. Examination of ability is done with interview and the physical coherence is tested.
