OUR SCHOOL

Pera Fine Arts High School has been giving education since 1996 in Taksim which is the center of culture and education. Our school which has completed 10th year in education life, since first day with its education programs, art departments and national and international art projects, is one of the leader institutions of art in our country.

In 1999 Pera Fine Arts realized a first and opened the theatre department and in 2004 realizing an other first earned ballet/dance department to fine arts education programs It's the first and unique Fine Arts High School of Turkey that gives education in 4 departments: music, art, theatre and ballet/dance.

In our school which aims to educate qualified artists who can represent our country in national and international platforms, the education policy is diffused in 4 years and it's formed to reveal creative potential of the students and supply their use in maximum level their personal skills.

Pera Fine Arts High School has the principal to teach the art living and making it a life stile accompanied with artist teachers who continue their professional art lives.

The school building which has all kind of substructure has a rich art library, music laboratories, ballet and dance saloons, lesson saloons which were designed specially for theatre lessons and also a professional Art Gallery and Theatre Saloon. In the cafeteria which is placed on upper floor the students can prove all the need.

In Pera Fine Arts High School a 4 year long education is being applied. From 10th class our students like the coevals studying in general high schools are taking culture department's lessons as literature, story, geography, mathematics, in addition they start to take art lessons too. After an interview which is done with experts of relative art branches and education consultant art branches of the students are decided.

Pera Fine Arts High School gives a special importance to culture lessons besides art education. Our graduates as all high school graduates enter in Ö.S.S. examination. Every our student which pass the examination can draw up into universities with ability exams and many of our students can draw up with central replacement system. For this reason our students who are prepared to university with, young and dynamic culture department staff who are experienced in ÖSS, do ÖSS preparatory examinations in periods and participate to the etudes oriented to reinforce test techniques. ÖSS success of the Pera Fine Arts High School is 98 %. As a result of this success the students can be established to art faculties of universities they want.
