BALLET/DANCE

IN BALLET/DANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM;in addition to the culture lessons in High School, Classical Ballet, Dance, Music(Solfege-Piano), Rhythmic Gymnastic, Historical Dances, Turkish Folkloric Dances, Character Dances, Fencing, Pantomim, Modern Dances, History of Ballet lessons are given.

Lessons are done in professional workshop atmosphere. By the way of Classical Ballet and Art of Dance, skill of self-identification is provided to the student. With group work method their personal creativity is improved.

On important days in the school, the shows from ballet recitals are prepared and represented on stage. Inside and outside school, workshops with artist pedagogists and conferences and seminars with specialist artists in their subject are done. In other departments of the school ,(Music, Art, Theatre) common projects are implemented. The conditions are provided for attendance to the education projects in abroad, competitions, dance festivals abroad and workshops.

Among university choices of the students who are studying in this department there are a lot of alternatives which bring their education life in academic level like Modern Dance, Folkloric Dances.

The students are taken to this department with examinations of ability. Examination of ability is done with musical audition and physical coherence tests.
